Hi I’m Audrey and I’m looking for my forever home!

Before coming to PUR I was only at my first home for a couple weeks. Their circumstances changed and they couldn’t keep me anymore. I spent a few weeks bouncing around from place to place while people figured out who could take care of me. Lucky for me one of PUR’s amazing volunteers reached out to the PUR team to see if they could help!

You’ll be able to pick me out of a sea of puppies with my unique wavy tail, and my big ears. My foster mum tells me they look like Dobby from Harry Potter but that when I’m grown up they will stand up like my German Shepherd ancestors.

I love cuddles in the morning and at night. Especially belly rubs, but those can be any hour of the day! I often like to sleep on the cool tiles or wooden floor, but most of the time I prefer to be next to my foster mum.

Because I am so young, I need someone who can show me the ropes of this big world we live in. I am a very curious pup! I just need some patience gaining confidence with new environments and people. Not to toot my own horn, but I’ve gained a lot of confidence since being born – feeling safe, puppy school, and doing training and enrichment activities has helped me a lot.

Did I mention I love chicken yet? I loveeee chicken. Almost as much as I like toys, tug of war, cuddles with my foster mum and playing with other dogs.

I’m on the lookout for someone who can take the time to fulfil all my needs and I wouldn’t mind living with another friendly dog. I’d prefer not to live with children or cats though. I need somewhere that I’ll have room to grow and someone who understands I’m still learning. The perfect forever home is out there somewhere… Could this be you?

Medical Notes
Audrey is not yet desexed. It has been recommended by a veterinary specialist that desexing is delayed until 9 months of age as her breed is prone to hip dysplasia. Adopters will be required to sign an additional agreement to have Audrey desexed by 30 September 2023 at their expense. Audrey has had hip X-rays performed which indicate possible signs of hip dysplasia.
